Diagrams 2012 will take place on the campus of the University of Kent in Canterbury. The main conference will take place on 3-5 July 2012, with satellite workshops on the 2nd and 6th of July. Canterbury is an ancient cathedral city situated in Kent, a county which is often called the garden of England.

The venue is well served by transport links. Canterbury is less than an hour from London by train or car and is easily accessible by train from the continent. Directions to University of Kent, Canterbury Campus.

Accommodation

Accommodation is offered on campus, in newly refurbished ensuite rooms. You may extend a stay before or after the conference. More information about accommodation at the University of Kent. The campus is situated in parkland on a hill overlooking Canterbury and its Cathedral. The conference venue is short walk or bus ride from the city centre and transport hubs.

Canterbury

Canterbury is steeped in history, with The Cathedral, St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church forming a World Heritage Site. It is not far from the coast and fashionable Whitstable is within easy access. Kent has a rich maritime history, being surrounded on three sides by the sea. There is plenty of travel and tourist information on the web, but here is a list of local attractions.
